From Tahoe City, take CA 89 south for 18 miles (29 kilometers). WebThe trail to Eagle Falls is a short loop trail, so you can start on either trail to get there. The elevation gain is minimal and it's less than a mile roundtrip. There are a few scenic vista points that are worth stopping by on your way to the falls.
