Web12 Apr 2014 · Donwloaded Spore the other day with CaC and GA, but all three of the games in my library simply launch a black screen, which then crashes, and closes. I am running WIndows 8. Your using Windows 8! That is clearly the problem! :) I would delete local content (right click on the games). If that doesn't work... BUMP! Misleading.

From the options menu disable all windows and Microsoft entries. Uncheck items that looks suspecious from all tabs. You have to be careful. If you uncheck anything that is critical for your system it may not boot up again, so be verycarefull when you do this.
