After that you need to remove the apostrophe at the end of AppendWrite. It is a typo. Last but not least, make sure you do all this using Powershell 5.1.

Web12 Oct 2024 · It sounds like the script is working, but you're having issues with how it's being executed/scheduled. If you copy-pasted into an elevated PowerShell window then your script is fine. As others have stated you should double check your scheduled task settings and use start-transcript at the beginning of the script.
