WebSheldon's theory of somatotypes. He advanced a theory that criminal behaviour is linked to a person's physical form. There are 3 bodily builds which were identified by Sheldon. 1)Ectomorph:(thin) they are soliditary and restrained. 2)Endomorph: (fat) they are relaxed and hedonistic. 3) Mesomorph: (muscular) they are energetic and adventurous. WebAccording to Sheldon's theory, endomorphs are characterized by a round, soft, and fleshy body type, and are thought to be more prone to laziness, apathy, and a lack of self-control. Mesomorphs, on the other hand, are characterized by a muscular, athletic, and rugged body type, and are thought to be more aggressive, assertive, and dominant.
